LOFS Poland 

Liceum Ogólnokształcące z Oddziałami Dwujęzycznymi Fundacji Szkolnej w Warszawie (LOFS) is a private, bilingual secondary school located in the heart of Warsaw, Poland. Established in 2020 under the administration of the School Foundation of Warsaw, LOFS is committed to fostering an inclusive, innovative, and forward-thinking learning environment. Our school is dedicated to promoting universal values such as tolerance, equality, and cooperation while emphasizing cross-border friendship and community.

With a student body of 172 young individuals, ranging from 15 to 19 years of age, LOFS offers a curriculum that integrates foreign languages, sciences, ICT, and the STEAM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). We focus on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills through extracurricular activities, including robotics and math labs.

Our inclusive strategy supports students from diverse backgrounds, including those with limited Polish proficiency, and promotes equal opportunities for all. We prioritize the mental health and well-being of our students, providing dedicated support through psychological services and collaboration with external counseling centers.

As a school that embraces technology and innovation, we are excited to integrate Adventure Learning methodologies into our classrooms, using AI-powered games to enhance creativity, teamwork, and digital literacy. Through our dynamic and immersive approach, we aim to prepare our students for success in an information-driven world, while instilling a strong sense of environmental responsibility and multicultural awareness.

The Istituto Professionale di Stato per I Servizi per l’Enogastronomia e per l’Ospitalità Alberghiera “Umberto Di Pasca” is a vocational school specializing in the hospitality and tourism sectors. Located in Potenza, in the South of Italy, this institute offers technical training and professional qualifications for students aspiring to enter the world of hospitality, including hotels, restaurants, and travel agencies.

 It has represented for more than fifty years, for the city of Potenza and for a large part of the province, a reality that aims to contribute to the professional training and promotion of the tourism, hotel and restaurant sectors of Basilicata.

The Training Offer Plan is able to combine the cultural and social growth of students with the promotion of a professional level appropriate to the local, national and international tourism market. Our students easily find employment both in Italy and abroad and have daily learning and practice opportunities through the organization of events in collaboration with local bodies, institutions and associations. PRISMA-Athens

is an interdisciplinary planning and research consultancy founded in 1991 and has since built up a notable record of research, policy consulting, evaluation and education outcomes. PRISMA possesses extensive experience in lifelong learning research and action projects; local development; spatial/environmental planning; and the use of new technologies in learning and capacity building.

PRISMA has implemented numerous transnational European projects, co-funded by the European Commission, in the field of lifelong learning, ecotourism, environmental conservation, cultural development and social inclusion, either as project coordinator or partner. In the field of lifelong learning, over the past 20 years PRISMA conducted over 40 research studies or action/policy projects and produced over 30 publications. Its transnational work on lifelong learning includes projects and publications in e-learning (setting up the Observatory of e-learning in rural areas); validation and certification of non-formal and informal learning; the role of LLL in combating social exclusion; key skills development; competence and training needs assessment; the role of LLL and education in sustainable urban and rural development; training for sustainable tourism and ecotourism quality labelling; conflict resolution between tourism and environmental planning.

PRISMA is also a founding member and member of the board of the European Academy for Sustainable Rural Development, a European not-profit NGO covering all EU countries, devoted to capacity building in rural areas mostly through education and lifelong learning, via the yearly conduct of summer schools for rural development stakeholders and development facilitators, and through transnational projects and studies.
